Hey, I heard from a friend that Disney's creating a new ride or theme park based on this movie? If it's true, I think it's a great idea because I love dragons! I just saw the trailer and the graphics were pretty good...it's about dragons in the future. How cool would that be to have a futuristic dragon type theme park?! Anyone else heard about this? You guys gotta check out the dragon...it looks much cooler than anything else I've seen...

I saw the trailor for reign of fire and it looks good. Of course my taste are normaly diffrent then the majority so it might not be as big a hit as it could be. I deffinatly have to go out and see it. I don't know if this movie would be a good theme for a ride in Animal Kindom because the movie is about killing dragons and dragons killing us. Although I think it looks good I don't think that movie would be good for the Disney image. Still dragons are a great theme for any ride in Beastly Kindom (provided Universal doesnt sue :hammer: ).

Touchstone..

This rumor has been around for over a year now...supposidly its going to go into Beastly Kingdom...however..recent rumors are stemming about the project being nothing but a myth.

Walt Disney Pictures is for kids movies, Touchstone, Miramax, Dimension, and Hollywood Pictures are for adults.

Well if USF does sue, the world may find out where the idea for a dragon themed coaster really came from...
I don't think it would ever make it to trial.

I don't know about this...
If you watch the trailer it's about a post nuclear apocoplyptic era in which dinosaurs have been awakend and are killing off man kind.
It's a grabe your uzi and lets go kill kind of movie.


A dinosaur ride would rock, and something based on escaping dinosaurs would be even cooler, but not too similar to this movie. It's not Disney wholesome family style.


Dinosaur is on the edge but in dinosaur your scientists kind of. FOr this to follow the movie you are renegade killers

dated 19 September 2001, is not just rumor. ;) That info was (and still most likely is) absolute concrete fact. :)

All information I get, except some very sensitive info that would potential cause problems, I put on the site. So unfortunately I dont have any more to pass onto you at this time.

The planned opening is around Spring 2006, so that means I dont think we will hear an official annoucement until 2003 or 2004. I hope we get some more leaked info before then though ;)

I'm so excited now. I saw the trailer for the movie and it looks pretty cool. If they put up a ride based around that I think I would go nuts!!:lol: :D :sohappy: :) :cool:
