I've gotten them for my daughter's meds every year for the last 7 years, and they are always the same one you would pay for. I've never even seen a fridge that only the medicine would fit in.

I don't have any firsthand experience with the medical fridge or rented fridge, but I have read the medical fridge is approximately the size of a shoebox.

I think you can request a larger free medical fridge if you need more room, for tube feeding, IV fluids, etc. They may have switched to the smaller ones because so many people were abusing the free ones, but they may have gone to just using the same size for everyone, as the smaller medical ones may have been "overlooked" at check-out.

Of course, if someone has been coming for several years, with the same request, they may automatically give out the larger one, depending upon needs.

Its probably cheaper to purchase a fridge at Walmart than it is to rent one at Pop for 7 days!

I had a few trips where I had to use one for medical purposes (no really!). It worked out and was able to put a few bottles of water in there, too. I did not have to pay.
