I don't think you're necessarily wrong, but slight improvement on the most heinous eyesore to ever blight a guest-facing Disney landscape isn't saying much, relatively speaking.
I agree. Somehow the barges don't look as ugly. Don't get me wrong they still look ugly but somehow actually having them do something makes them look at least somewhat important or decent.

I know I will get shot for saying this, but I think the screens with projected images are much better than the blank black screens

I know what you’re saying, it’s a fair point.

I look at it like this - They are tying a bow on a bag of 💩, trying to make it look nice.

Imagine being Chapek if Walt shows up. Awkward…

”I was just…uh…keeping this seat warm for you. Do you think this is timeless-, family-, relevant-, and Disney-enough? Have you heard the good news about Marvel?”

Not sure if you're here in person, but firsthand they look way better during the day and horrible at dusk as the color doesn't match.

In the Parks
Yes
Why they decided to block off most of the viewing and seating/eating areas is beyond me, especially when they blasted social media for AP holders to come and watch the show to fight and tomorrow. Folks were camped out around the pond when we went to dinner at 5. By the time we finished and came back out, folks were pouring into the park when everything had been walkon (of course Frozen went up to a whole 20 minutes).

Media circus turned into a big nope, not gonna stand shoulder to shoulder right now even if my wife and I have been vaccinated for 7 months.

It's a mess. All the f+W tables have been full of vloggers and campers since 6
