These really have been the nail in my coffin. Finally an official "former" Disney World fan. As a local, I'm at Universal once every week or two now. I literally have no intent of going to Disney property at all. Not saying that for anyone else. Rather that voting with your wallet finally got me, as it just makes me sad to be on Property any more. (Which really sucks - but is the choice the Bob$ have made for their company.)

What, you don’t like the general feeling of Disney having its hand in your wallet at every turn these days? It’s never been free, obviously, but the “charging for what was once included” going on now, plus the constant barrage of more food more drinks more merchandise more more more… it’s not a nice feeling.

I love it, we now have electronic billboards all over WSL.

But I'm sure Disney would never abuse this use them tasteless advertising.

I mean they haven't converted the Torches to these thing yet have they?

They know how to move them, the budget was cut. Marina expansion and gap widening was needed.
It's a simple "pass the baton" answer. They don't have an actual answer.
More bothersome to me is it means they just plowed ahead and didn't care. Harm's hardware, literally, doesn't fit the park - it's too big to move, it doesn't fit in the marina, it blocks views across World Showcase, the stargate is off center, large parts of the promenade can't even see the stargate screen...

It's like buying an 85" TV and not considering how it might look once you get it home.

I'm sure it's still possible. There's absolutely no way they do it, though.
I’ve felt for a while this is the only solution. These things were just never meant to be on the lagoon. Are we sure it’s impossible? Like, this is definitely the most glaring failing of the whole EPCOT reimagining, and it seems everyone finds it unsightly, even the casual visitor. This isn’t a go-away-green building situation where only certain people see and care. It’s literally an off-center monstrosity staring you down whenever you approach the World Showcase.
