I think the fireworks announcement will be made with the no mask required indoors announcement so that it takes those with the negative opinion of no masks so soon and turns it into fireworks are back!
Orange county is poised to do no masks tomorrow WDW probably has their own time-line but still.

I know this is beating a dead horse but we visited Epcot this week for the first time in months. I couldn’t believe how huge these things are. Walking up to the WS you can’t see across the water. Gone is the impression of entering and looking across the lagoon at America. It’s godawful. I usually end up coming around, and won’t be surprised if this show is incredible, but I just don’t see how this mess got approved. It has completely ruined the views and beauty of the WS. Completely.
This was my experience as well. I'd seen the pictures here, the derisive names, and so on, but decided to wait until I saw it in person to cast judgement. Two days ago, I got my first in-person look. Awful. Those things are so large they make everything else look small--the pavilions, and even the lagoon itself. The view through Japan's torii is particularly sad-making, but there is no location around the lagoon that isn't diminished by those eyesores. Of course, there's the hope that the show will be magnificent when it arrives. But I would put this in the "Packers Trade Up to Draft Jordan Love" category--either Harmonious is a Hall-Of-Famer, or someone screwed up royally.

Hey y’all, just wondering what the testing comparisons are with Harmonious and other fireworks/night shows? In other words, how much time before the debut of HEA or EF (or maybe even WoC @ DL?) were they beginning to do simple tests? Even before full show tests. Cause I wonder if there’s a way we can kinda zero in on when we can expect them to start doing those entire show test runs, or maybe even just get an idea of where they are in the process.

I know HEA debuted on 5/12/2017, and there were full test runs in the weeks leading up (5/2/17 & 5/9/17). Were there points in the months or weeks leading up to the debut where they were doing simple tests like they’re currently doing with HARM right now? I know the logistics are a little different because harmonious is a more complex show, I assume, and so they probably need way more time to run simple tests.

Side note, I never really post here, but I usually lurk cause I love WDW and their night shows are actually the reason I’m in my profession (Broadway lighting technician). Went to Disney when I was in HS and I decided there and then I want to do entertainment tech as a career.

Looks like a potential test tonight? They just raised the bridge and brought out 4 very large pyro barges!
I took a video of them being brought out, but it won’t let me post. Here are some stills.

this is so exciting! I wonder…if this is a full test run, and they did full test runs of HEA a few weeks before it’s debut, does that mean we can expect HARM to debut in July or August?
My thoughts as well. Is it completely out of the question for this to debut this summer instead of Epcot Forever, or will Disney hold off to coincide with the 50th.

Yeah one would definitely question if we still are getting EF first. Why do all this testing now when we are 4 months out from October. 🤔
But, insiders seem to think we are still getting EF first and Harm this fall.
