That’s an insult! When Goofy would ruin a sightline, he’d at least do it in style! It looks better without the water..
The fountains look goofy.
Aha. So the tacos are now "fins."Third fin barge is out today, photos shortly
Do we have any evidence whatsoever that the water spray we've seen is "show fountain" yet, and not, you know, just testing? The fountains look goofy.
From my understanding, the bridges will still have to come up because the firework barges will still go back to the marina each day. The barges we see now are not replacing the firework barges, they're complimenting them.this would be the same folks complaining about having to wait on the old show barges being brought in because they couldn't get to the Mexico pavilion because of the bridge being up. Imagine how long the wait would be getting this big stuff out into the lagoon!
Well stated. From my understanding, the bridges will still have to come up because the firework barges will still go back to the marina each day.
As for your second point, the whole point of design is making something within constraints. A toddler can fill a gap between a valley with material to make it traversable. An engineer designs a bridge that will take up 1/100th of the materials that the toddler's solution would take.
If the operations team didn't want to bog down guests with an extended bridge disruption, the solution is simple, design a showpiece that doesn't cause this obstruction. The solution isn't to throw caution to the wind and park it in view throughout the day.
That was Walt Disney talking about plussing the park and plussing attractions.“In this volatile business of ours, we can ill afford to rest on our laurels, even to pause in retrospect. Times and conditions change so rapidly that we must keep our aim constantly focused on the future.”
-Walt Disney
Here is a look at today's Harmonious fountain test. You can also see some testing of the icon barge lighting.
Show fountains rarely point straight up at their highest setting for tens of minutes on end during a show. That was Walt Disney talking about plussing the park and plussing attractions.
Not forget everything we know about show and design!
If those are the fountains this is getting downright laughable.

I meant for daytime use.Show fountains rarely point straight up at their highest setting for tens of minutes on end during a show.
What you're seeing now is testing. It hasn't been put into invisible water shield mode yet.I meant for daytime use.
Oh I see. There’s a magical “water shield” mode. Good to knowWhat you're seeing now is testing. It hasn't been put into invisible water shield mode yet.
I'm not saying it will work. I'm saying what we're seeing now is definitely not what will be attempted as a daytime fountain.
