Gorgeous! I'd rather Disney was doing something like this. When the show is over, the drones all disappear, nice and tidy. Nothing to see. No views of the World Showcase being blocked.

Hah, there were a few negative comments on Zachs Instagram that have been removed. Glad they're open to criticism.

They were just "what a eyesore" and the usual "there goes the nice view" kind of comments. No swearing or anything.

One thing that’s really insulting to me is prior to this Disney were conscious of aesthetics outside of the show. Epcot. DCA. TDS. Everything was hidden until needed. Even USO attempted to do something to mitigate the problem. Now here we are in one of the most beautifully designed park environments ever.

Quoting for posterity. Dead-on accurate. And you aren’t the only one insulted by these monstrosities that will now kill sight lines around World Showcase Lagoon.

Can’t wait for The Exalted Zach to say, “Guest surveys indicate that they don’t care about sight lines” while wearing an Epcot shirt and people clamoring to kiss his feet while proclaiming, “He GETS it!!!”

That was my question, do they drop down some or not? Looks like they “should” and that would help. But looking at the hookups and equipment in that base level I was guessing not. That is difference between bad and hideous I think.
