Only gets love from me because it's DVC and walking distance to MK. Nothing about it excites me. Contemporary is charming in every which way to me because it's exciting to look at and be in but BLT, nothing. I want to dump it but the parents want to dump WL instead.

I love our points at WL. But yeah, BLT leaves me cold.

But there is a big audience who doesn’t want highly themed and the resorts are adapting to that.

I think sometimes people are unaware of what it takes to create a themed environment, but they know it "feels like Disney"... they just don't clue in to the details...If they really go down this road of losing all the details that make a Disney resort special, it will be noticed or felt. Maybe not right away, but one day people will start to wonder why a isney resort feels no more special than staying at any Marriott hotel...

There seem to be plenty of people on these very boards who have no issues with any of the new "lightly themed" tower resorts or the "clean and sleek" renovated restaurants and shops. Lots of positive comments. I disagree with those comments but they definitely exist.

That is my take as well. Disney is following the market. I don't agree with it, but that seems to be the case. I'm hoping Rivera and Reflections prove me wrong in the end.

Where are the dogs, sheep and pigs on the wing?

That's very much along the lines of what I have said before, I think on this thread. Though I hope I'm not misinterpreting what you mean. Disney only has to go far enough, in their opinion, to sway guests from going to their competition. If Universal sells guests on the fidget spinner resort, Disney only needs to make a more attractive spinner by a tiny degree. If the rooms fill, or in the case of DVC, points sell, that's the most they will ever do.

Not bad for a Note 5 picture.

Made a pilgrimage this summer with my daughter. She started to tear up. They are converting it into condos.

Very impressive picture. I know people are split on this project but it wouldn't have been possible for the building to be saved otherwise. And it is keeping its form. The London Eye is not nearly as iconic. And the irony of it being saved through capital investment is something else. I am personally pleased.

PS- Pink Floyd only exists pre-Wall. Rant over.
