Refillable Mugs

You are showing two extremes here. A midsized mug is what everyone wants, and what Disney should at least provide as an option. How big are the current mugs? 8 or 12 oz? A 24 or so oz mug would be ideal. *edit* just mesaured mine to be about 10 oz with the lid on.

I was just making a joke......I would only guess that Disney dosent use larger cups because it would only promote more waste. People would fill that cup all the way up and generally not drink it all.

Could you see everybody walking around with this mug. Its a whopping 64 oz and made by whirley, the same company that makes the mugs for Disney and many other parks, coliseums and sporting venues across the country.

I've got one of the big ones from the local gas station. I just checked the bottom... it's a Whirley. i may have to bring it down and use it on our cruise (all soft drinks are free for everyone).

As of yet (and I haven't been corrected), I am operating under the assumption that, because softdrinks, coffee, etc. are free (help yourself) on the ships, there wouldn't be any problems bringing your own mug on board to use (whether it's a WDW Resort Mug or otherwise).
