Soda, coffee, hot chocolate and fountain-type drinks.

For a view of where rooms are related to food courts, the resort maps here are not too bad.

Drink selection in the food courts does vary slightly from resort to resort.

Generally, all of them include fountain sodas, coffee, and tea.

Some include Hot Chocolate, and some include frozen "slushie" drinks. POFQ has both of these....not sure about POR.

The ammount of stuff we drink at WDW pays for the mug no matter how far we have to walk! Just during breakfast alone, the convenience of having 3 or 4 cups saves serious cash!

The furthest away you will ever be is about 10 minutes at any resort. Plus, in many cases you will walk right past the snack bar area on the way to and from the bus stops. Just fill up and toss the mug in your backpack. You will thenhave it on the way back to fill up at the end of the day!

It's almost a non-issue unless its pouring rain outside!

HAVE FUN!

Refillable mugs are the way to go for $15! We stayed at Port Orleans Riverside last time (May 8-15) and if I would have had to actually buy all the drinks I got from our hotel, it would have cost me over $500! They had Coke, diet coke sprite, root beer, fanta orange,Dr. Pepper, cherry coke, water, coffee, hot chocolate and tea. The cups are 16oz. and come in two different designs. If your rooms is far away from the food court (which is one of the best food courts on Disney propertry), ask them at check in if it is possible to get moved closer. And make sure you save your cups for future Disney visits!

WDW sells COKE products so that is what is available...Coke, Diet Coke, Dr Pepper, RootBeer, Sprite, Orange Fanta...you can also get Iced Tea from a separate dispenser.

The coffee, hot tea & hot chocolate are also included in the refillable mug deal.

Do they still carry two different sizes? In June at WL all they had were the "travel" sizes (which do hold the same amount just shaped differently) and we asked if they had the other style becaue all our other mugs are in that style - we were told that they would only have the travel style from now on.

My next visit is at the Contemporary and it will be my first time there. Do they have they refillable mugs too? Or are the mugs just for the moderate and below resorts??

Thanks for your feedback

The mugs is a great thing to buy. You can go down to the food court has many time as you want. Disney never changes the mugs. I have a Pop mug and I use it at work and when I go down there in 9 days I will be bring it with me.

All the resorts have mugs. I have one from there. And the surpising thing is that they still have the same look mug there. 5 years later. So save it if you come to the resort agian.

Do they allow you to bring the mug into the parks with you? Just wondering if you could fill it up before you leave for the park and have something at least for a little while. Then later in the day maybe put ice water from your lunch in it to save money...just a thought.
