Refillable drink mugs

We were there May 31 - June 8 at Pop. The mug situation was less than ideal. We didn't buy the mugs, but on one occasion we did buy a paper cup for soda. At Pop the girls and I tended to do kids meals which came with drinks. The scanners were slow to recognize the bar codes, CMs were helping people but they most definitely had a 3 minute delay for refills or top offs. With the paper cups it told you how much time you had left and how many refills available...even on the kids cups. This didn't matter to me as I drink the iced tea anyway. But I did notice that the bottoms of the paper cups must have changed because they slowly leaked.

We drove down and brought our own cooler. For trips to the pool we had our drinks in our room fridge.

If you get the dining plan and they come with it...great. If not, you would need to figure how many fountain drinks you plan on really buying. We were only at the resort food court for lunch or dinner twice during our whole trip. We didn't buy any breakfasts as we brought on the go meals.

We have cabinets full of the old mugs. This was the first trip we didn't buy the mugs and didn't miss them. I guess over $15 per person was the tipping point for us. Even if we only have 4 instead of 5 in our group I didn't see us drinking $60 worth of fountain drinks at the resort.
