Refering to WDW...

There was a whole thread a few days ago just about the Boy Meets World episode in WDW, along with Full House and Roseanne episodes. I think there was a recent episode of According to Jim that took place on a Disney Cruise, but I missed it.

There was an episode of Sabrina that was filmed at DAK. It was right after it opened , it was basically more of an ad for the new park from what I remember.

Didn't Brittany Murphy say a line in Uptown Girls that went like "we're gonna sit in teacups and spin around til we're sick"? I could be wrong, I'm not sure about this one.

On the show "Ellen" (the sitcom not the talk show)

On an episode of "Ellen" Ellen showsher friend the postcards her parents had sent her from "England, France, Germany and Italy." and Paige says: "I didn't know they were in Europe." "They aren't." says Ellen. "They're at Epcot Center."

Also--I saw a little bit of "Full House." once with Danny trying to propose to his girlfriend at Epcot and the girls walking around the MK. (I had to leave and couldn't see the whole show) Aaaghhh-- pleeease don't tell me they only had the ADULTS in Epcot in that episode (or series of episodes) While things like that probably don't exactly ruin Epcot's image as a park kids can have fun in, it certainly doesn't help I think.

She did, but she was refering to the teacups at coney island, or whatever park it was in the city the movie was placed in.

Jurassic Park:

John Hammond: All major theme parks have had delays. When they opened Disneyland in 1956, nothing worked, nothing.

Dr. Ian Malcolm: But, John. But if the Pirates of the Caribbean breaks down, the pirates don't eat the tourists.

This is till my favorite!! I loved it!!

Do you remember "Stand by me" From the early 80's, when there sitting around the campfire talking about Goofy.

The one kid is like, "Mickey's a Mouse, Donald's a Duck, Pluto's a dog, what is Goofy"

Then after a couple of other funny stuff one kids goes, "ya... what is Goofy??"

Remember it had River. P in it & the kid from Goonies! It was a really great movie!!

I just watched The Cooler and Alec Baldwin refers to the new Las Vegas as being like Disneyland. Then later in the movie he refers to the old Vegas as the days "before all this Epcot Center bullsh*t".

I think the Vegas/Disneyland connection is also mentioned in Casino, but I might be wrong.

I made this thread a while ago...

Last night I was watching "Extreme Engineering" on the Discovery Channel.
It was on a big tunnel that runs under Malaysia. Anyways, they dug out a huge pit that went I think they said 100 feet down?

They had to take an elevator down, and one of the guys said "this is just like Journey to the Center of the Earth" :)

Love that part! I always laugh a little to myself and mumble "fifty FIVE" under my breath, though. :)

Also in Jurassic Park...when they first arrive and see the Mr. DNA presentation, and I think it's Malcom who sees the specialists working with the dino eggs and says something like "Are these...auto...um...audio..." And Hammond cuts in: "No, we have no animatronic figures here." My dad cracked up and explained to 9-year-old me "Look, they won't say 'audio animatronics' since Disney owns the name."
