Two visits to DL so far -
May 2007 - 2 days . 1st visit was comp...which was a thrill. Nice way to be welcomed after so many years in FL.
DisneyLand was a interesting experience that first time. As with most WDW vets, seeing Sleeping Beauty*s Castle took some getting used to, but i was charmed. The hot pink lighting at nighttime was beautifully done. Very impressed with the entire Park. I loved FantasyLand and the differences there compared to WDW. All the dark rides were great, and Peter Pan*s Flight blew me away ( the soaring off into the clouds and stars...). Just WOW. Was not expecting that. Indy was awesome, and BTMR in CA was a nice experience.
Only saw the fireworks show in the evening, no Fantasmic. Did see the fabulous *Parade of Dreams* at that time and it was awesome. SO wanted to see that come to FL.
DCA ( vs 1.0 ) was very dissapointing...a fragile shell of a Park being used as an excuse to just cram in merch and dining locations. The one show i wanted to see i missed that day ( Brother Bear Totem Ceremony ) and at that time none of the attractions wowed me. It was a mild day so i did not ride GGRun. DCA at that time came across to me as tacky and poorly designed. Overal, visually un-appealing and un-inspiring to me. Spent only a few hours there....then hopped over to DL again.

June 2012 - 2 days. 2nd visit.
Re-established myself at the Parks...was able to revisit many faves from previous visit. Still many more new things to do, but took in the updated GMWLincoln presentation which was surreal. Coming from the East Coast experiences, when *Golden Dream* played at the close of the show i freaked. I so closely associate that song with *The American Adventure* at EPCOT, the original show the song is from. So that was a neat surprise for me. The gallery before the show was very nicely done. Tony Baxter*s ticket collection was great to see as was all the concept art and models.
DCA was a much better experience, although i arrived a few days before CarsLand opened...so completely missed this and BWStreet. Oh well...from what i DID see and do i was much happier at how the Park looked and *felt*. Seemed some nice improvements had been made.

Next trip - September 2013. 5 days. This time i really want to spend more time soaking up the atmosphere. Previous visits were with friends and far too short a time span.
