Tomorrowland Speedway was originally on my list as one to close but a solid refurb would also be acceptable!Great thread!
retheme- tomorrowland speedway!
refurbish- EE
close- AIE
create- Carsland and/or avatarland for WDW!
What you said on create. If you need an explanation, please see my username. I wouldn't mind some more Indy stuff either. I wouldn't mind them closing the show and replacing it with rides, but I understand they use it for dance competitions. If you had the choice to Re-theme, Refurbish, Close and Create an attraction in Disney World, what would you choose for each category and why?
Re-theme: Rock 'n' Rollercoaster... I've had a lot of fun on this attraction but feel its time to re-theme it to fit the Hollywood Studios vibe. A TRON theme would be fantastic and the soundtrack would make for an amazing experience.
Refurbish: Perhaps it's the obvious choice but I can't pretend like Expedition Everest doesn't need a refurb. At the same time I know that until Pandora makes its way into Animal Kingdom we certainly won't see one. From the obvious (Yeti) to so many rather basic effects working at random, it could most definitely use a 2-3 month refurb. The Great Movie ride would come in second place.
Close: I guess I'm one of the weird ones because I actually don't have an issue with Stitch's Great Escape (because I know this will hands down be the most voted to be closed). I also refuse to be quick in saying that a certain attraction in WDW deserves to be scrapped (because like it or not a lot of the attractions certainly deserve to remain timeless and never close). So if I ultimately had to choose one attraction to close, I would have to go with the American Idol Experience. It's an obnoxious, almost irrelevant eyesore that needs to disappear to make room for something much greater.
Create: Hands down a larger Star Wars presence within Hollywood Studios needs to be created and honestly I feel it's only a matter of time before we see an E ticket Star Wars universe dark ride similar to Forbidden Journey.
