RCT2: Anyone Still Playing?

I liked RCT2 a lot better than the third ones. Anyone else? It just seemed like the layout was simple, and offered a great interface (from a casual gamer's perspective.)

My brother has RCT 3 and I play it sometimes but I hate the game...the graphics are horrible, not very realistic. I don't have RCT2 but I have RCT1 and I like that much better. Are they going to make a RCT4 someday....hopefully better than RCT3?

I Just found my RCT2 discs when I was cleaning out my room (yay finding things when you move) and I forgot how much I loved that game. Now I just wish I could find all the old Park recreations I had, mainly Brisal73's Disneyland, that park was beautiful.

To be honest, I always make my own scenarios and check off "No Money"

I would love Chris Sawyer to make RCT4, and maybe partner with Disney while he's at it!

I'm still waiting for Epcot Tycoon... :lookaroun

Seriously, I had RCT 3, but I somehow managed to crack the disc. Never bothered to buy it again. Maybe I'll get it again someday since my laptop is much faster than the computer I originally had it installed on. I tried recreating Busch Gardens Williamsburg once, but it pretty much killed the computer.

I do still have RCT2 but I don't really get to play it very often. I did try to make a park with my roommate in college last year but it kind of fell apart after a while. I guess that's why RCT has always been a one-player game.

This is my first posting so hope I do it correctly. I hope they do a RCT4 or at least an expansion pack to add the capability of creating hotels/resorts.

Welcome

I know there exists a few accurate Disney recreations out there; with the addition of Wacky Worlds and Time Twister to RCT2, many of them would probably be quite well done. As for the RCT franchise, I really wish Chris Sawyer would return to the helm; when Atari did RCT3, it just seemed to lose its charm or that "something"...

I still play it once in a while. RCT 3 was so different (and resource) that it lost everything that made the series great.
