Well, they didn't say they didn't agree with it i don't think, so it is probably pretty universally felt. It does seem pretty cool though!!

Have you read this thread by any chance? I don't think it's "universally felt."

You generally don't post what you don't agree with though.

That's not how reporting works, unless you're North Korean. He just posted what the DLP fansite gave him, because he wasn't actually there.

Well since IITM is an editorializing site it kind of is how it works. In the past when he's been unable to be there in person he's posted the views of others he's trusts and I was assuming this was a similar situation. Sorry for trying to bring a glimmer of hope to this thread.

I think its a very strong eticket, possibly the best family eticket around. Visually stunning, engineeringly clever. It's not "the best ride" in Disney and it wasn't ever going tone. I believe it to be better than any of the dark rides, its more impressive than Pirates technologically but lacks the nostalgia / deeper storyline.

It's not a classic but its definitely a decent show of WDI putting out a very nice product and pushing the bar.

It's the worlds best example of 3D blended with an attraction.

I can DM you as much proof as you like of me being there and those being my pictures if you'd like. I'd happily prove to @wdwmagic if it helps too?

Although I'm not sure why someone would lie?

Oh and for all its worth, it soft opened last night from 6pm to 7pm for the general public after our press event. So expect "normal" guests to post pictures/videos any time now.

Last time I checked, Ricky Brigante hadn't been on it either. That didn't stop anyone from pouncing on what they thought was a glowing endorsement from him.

I was not defending Ricky's actions. Just putting the opinions listed here in perspective.

Negative or positive, the reviews of those who have only watched this via youtube are of little value IMO.

Oh gosh, sorry! I guess I some how didn't realize you were the same person. Yah, no, I beleive you, its just that you'd be surprised on how people would lie on the internet just to leave a bad review. Although, yours seemed pretty posotive!:)

Personally I think its a very strong eticket, possibly the strongest young family e-ticket.

Sorry but I completely disagree with this point. If this is a very strong E-ticket then the Magic Kingdom must have about 20 E-tickets. It's a strong C-ticket in my opinion. Just because it's in park lacking attractions (and everything else for that matter) doesn't make the ride any better than it is.

Have you ridden it??
Would you consider Transformers an e-ticket? Probably yes, and this has been reviewed to be better than Transformers so how is this not a strong family e-ticket??

I dunno man, the more I look at Rat the stronger it looks.
Very large, well-themed queue, inside and out, new approaches to screen-based presentation, restaurant integration...
OTHER than animatronics and a strong thrill component, is there anything major this attraction is lacking?

Funnily enough yes I have.
I've never ridden Transformers so have no real opinion on it yet.
Because sitting in a seat that moves a bit while watching a video or moving past large objects that sometimes smell of something but do little else is not a E-ticket in my book. It's an adequate ride that helps to fill a void in that park but it is not and never will be an E-ticket imo.
