Removing the shell of an old attraction and replacing it with bathrooms isn't the kind of thing Disney would get much publicity mileage out of. The Tomorrowland Skyway station removal/bathroom refurb got no publicity either; it simply happened.

I'm just happy something is being done with the space. Plus, Peter Pan will become better as a result. Maybe they can toss some concept art into a release without actually talking about the restrooms? I'm more interested in how that area will look rather than the restrooms themselves. With the extended pathway, it's going to look so different over there.

Wow, they are really moving on that, I can see this being open by the beginning of the new year...I am going in February and I seem to geek out over any little aesthetical change they make

With the level of detail that is supposedly going into this area I am thinking it will be longer then that for an opening. Steel goes up very quickly and always makes it look like things are going to be done quicker then they really are.

I couldn't help but notice the woman's... pants?... that look like tattoos that match the wall in the background.

And the guy that appears to be taking a "closeup" photo of the wall!
Good luck spotting her against that wall. Also, the guy appears to be peaking through a crack in the walls

Seriously? This thing has been under construction for MONTHS - they are dragging, not moving fast..

Since the new construction started i think they are doing a decent job, it doesnt appear that they have a monsterous crew working on this and I feel like since they actually started putting pieces and structural elements together, every week its going faster.

Didn't construction on this start over a year ago?

They started the demolision in June of 2011 and then there was a break for a while where nothing appeard to be happening. New construciton walls went up in January 2012 at which point they finished the demo and started construction.

So it will be a year and half to build some bathrooms and surrounding structures.. yes construction is really flying!! o_O

Maybe it's EMH getting in their way.. yeah, lets blame that

As I said earlier in the thread, people always get excited when steel goes up because you get a big change in a very short period of time. I remember this same sort of thing when the steel for the BatB area started going up.

I still wish they had put out a color rendering with the rest of the new Fantasyland. The suspense .......... Is killing me!
