Rapunzels bathroom renderings?

Hello guys! I have seen several drawings and blueprints of the new Fantasyland. I am wondering why haven't we seen any renderings of the Tangled/Rapunzel themed area? I'm curious how WDW will achieve the tower in the valley scene in that area. If they are any renderings out there I'd love to see them.

Thanks!

I was also wondering what was going on with that. I know when Tangled came out they re-created the Snugly Duckling with a small tower for the meet and great, but in WDW Rapunzel got the fairytale garden. I was kind of hoping that when the new Fantasyland opened they would give Rapunzel somewhere special, but since they integrated her into the Princess line, it seems unlikely that she will receive special treatment.

Here's to hoping though.

Well, I know they are putting a tower up next to It's A Small World, where the bathrooms are being built. But, I've never seen an drawing of it.

Disney really hasn't said anything about the area.. that's why there is no art.

They must be thinking they can spring it on people as some 'bonus!!' type of thing.. yet the whole thing is so plainly out there. The other idea is maybe it's so tightly coupled to NextGen stuff they don't want to announce yet that announcing the area would lead to too many questions they can't answer.

I think the reason that Disney hasn't made any kind of announcement about the bathrooms is exactly the same reason why they haven't made any videos or posts about the new bathrooms in Belle's Village in the Expansion: they don't see that anyone would have any interest in such an announcement. (And 99.999% of the Disney guests wouldn't, just us Disney geeks) Instead, they talk about the things that Guests *will* be interested in, i.e. the attractions and restaurants.

If it were anything more than themed bathrooms, there would've been an announcement of some kind.

Plus, a press release about bathrooms? Do you know how many jokes on late night tv shows that would set themselves up for?

Yeah, I agree. Removing the shell of an old attraction and replacing it with bathrooms isn't the kind of thing Disney would get much publicity mileage out of. The Tomorrowland Skyway station removal/bathroom refurb got no publicity either; it simply happened.

Personally, I think Disney wants to avoid any jokes by making a big deal about this. I have repeatedly asked Jennifer Fickley-Baker at the official Disney blog about the Rapunzel bathrooms and she deliberately ignores my questions. I finally got a "I can't comment on that" out of her and a "you will like them when you see them" but she is not allowed to talk about the Rapunzel bathrooms in her column that covers the rest of the FLE construction.

They are just bathrooms, but themed with Rapunzel characters. I've heard rumors that the inside of the women's bathroom will have paintings on it like Rapunzel painted in there when she was painting her tower. The men's bathroom will look like it's the restroom of the Snuggly Duckling and there are wanted posters all over the walls, featuring Flynn Rider (but they don't get his nose right).

That's going to be the feel of it....that the women's room is somehow a bathroom that's a part of a tower that Rapunzel was in and the mens' room is the restroom of the Snuggly Duckling (even though that will exist only in your imagination as they are not really building an SD).

I REALLY Think that a BM&G is not going to be the smartest idea..Oh wait they got a Soak & Splash where the water is recycled...So yeah this must be a new kind of Disney Decade of Fail!

So far you are the only person I have read continuously make jokes about it. But I think the reason she can't comment is because it hasn't offically been announced yet.

I've never once made a joke about this Rapunzel bathroom. I am all for it. Please don't make accusations about people so lightly.
