Rapid Refill.

LOL. hacking. I was there in May, ANY cup we put under the fountain worked. Literally any cup. The only time it wouldn't fill is if it was a rapid refill cup that had just been filled. The cups for water/coffee they leave in your room worked every time.
Are you only allowed a certain amount of refills with the mug?

With a $17.99 mug its unlimited for length of stay at the resort (14 days by default but can be extended), however once your mug is full you can't get a second for three minutes (to stop people pouring it into another container and then filling again).
With the paper $3.29 cups its three refills in two hours (or similar).

I heard if you rub chapstick on the bottom of the mug/chip it will dispense an infinite amount of whatever beverage you choose. Also, pressing up, down, left, right A, B, B, A will also dispense soda as well.

Brilliant Contra reference!! But is my memory correct? Wasn't it up, up, down down, left right, left right?

The cup thing just cracks me up. All this effort because Disney doesn't want to pay someone to hand you a soda.

You think Disney's got the self serve to save money, not because the guests prefer it?

Ridiculous.
If I want a refill, the last thing I want to do is have to ask for it, especially if there's a line.
