Rape near Disney

If this all turns out to be true, I hope those boys enjoy themselves in prison. Rapist always get special treatment there. I think any man that rapes a women is not a man, but a coward. I have a little sister (well, she's 23 now, but still my little sister), and if anyone ever did something like that to her, I would be spending the rest of my life in prison for murder. Sorry for the rant, I just hate this kind of stuff.

This is the reason I rarely stayed at my apartment on my program, that and other reasons, but I never did feel safe....who knows who your next door neighbor is, or the guy who your roomate just let in.

1. I can see them stretching the truth and saying it happened at Disney since the three CP apartment complexes are owned by Disney.

2. Don't worry, Disney will never comment on situations like that. They are taken care of internally to the highest extent possible and then filed confidential. The only reason we even know about it is because it went beyond the scope of Disney and involved a serious legal issue.

3. The comment about the party place in Orlando...not entirely true. Security and the rules there are very strict compared to how they were in the past, and while there are those who do party, it is nothing close to Girls Gone Wild type stuff. In fact, the majority of those that would have participated in a party like that were terminated or self-termed long before that ever happened. Granted...this does come from a person who lived in Chatham, and I purposely never ventured over to Vista.

I hope these guys get the harshest punishment possible. This truely is a sad and I feel for the girl. Hopefully Jessica's Law will apply to a case like this and they won't be given a weak sentence.

Security there, while not as bad as Disney's own, leaves quite a bit to be desired. I mean, I'm not a resident, not a CP, not even a CM... but I've spent a night or two there without as much as a raised eyebrow from security.

That is atrocious. However, not surprising. CPs have a rep for being involved in such horrid things whilst on their program, especially the ICPs. And if you think the coke dealings are the only shady things going down at Commons, you're highly mistaken.

This has been a long time coming.

I was on the college program, I've seen with my own eyes what goes on. It's like any college dorm, plenty of hookups, ______, drugs and parties. When you add in the international students it's even MORE of a party. For anyone who thinks otherwise, you should enroll and see for yourself. Yes, there are good kids and bad kids, like any college dorm. However, to think it couldn’t happen because it’s a Disney run program, now that is just plan ignorant.

None of this, coke dealings, rapes, etc surprises me. Disney has been PUSHING the college program and international program lately. Hyping it. It's a source of cheap labor that the company desperately needs. Sooner or later events such as this rape was bound to happen and as I said, I'm quite surprised that the girls gone wild tape has not surfaced. I know some folks did try to start a website, that exposed the parties and such. I believe it got shut down by Disney not that long ago.

Oh I know...but I can't say that because I never saw it with my own eyes. But what I heard about would make a grown man cry. That's why I'm glad I lived in Chatham. I never once had to deal with that stuff, and became best buds with all of my roommates. Miss those guys.

I guess I'm just trying to clear the water a little and make sure those who have never been there understand not all CPs are like that.

Thankfully for her, fate was on her back, and the rapist got what he deserved.

A simple background check on all CM's hired would help with this. It won't stop it, but it will certainly help
