He's really hard to talk to because he is so into himself. My district manager told me to make it through the week and then she will take care of it, so today I will be working on staying away from him.:)

Thanks. Me too. Maybe I can actually make it through my whole shift today :)
Smart. What a jerk!

Hey stranger!!! How have you been???

Only the jacket will be black and the invite card will be ice blue. Text looks different too, but that's the general look :) Pretty simple.

I'm hanging in there. Love the invitations. Simple but very nice.

I wish I could've made ours. I'm just not very crafty. I get great ideas and they look good in my head, but then end up a mess.:lol:
Oh, I would have loved to have had yours!
All I did was write and layout the text; print it in a cranberry color on vellum paper--so you could see through it; then I printed one of our engagement photos in black and white onto ivory cardstock that had a pearlescent border. I placed the vellum on top of the cardstock with our photo and tied it with a cranberry ribbon. The final product was the wording of the invitation on top of our photo, which was visible through the vellum. It took a while, but it was cheap. We only sent out 80 invites though.

....yep... I brought it back... :lookaroun

I made my own programs. They were more time consuming then I thought they would be, so 2 night before the wedding I had everyone help me finish them up.
I did the same thing--even having my friends help just before the wedding! Might as well put them to work, right?!

See programs I may try and tackle on my own. Maybe enlist my FSIL to help out, she's uber crafty. Would love to do something along the lines of this:

I just have troubles tying bows. They never end up laying the way they're supposed to. Know of any tricks? Someone said to try tying them upside-down of the way you want them?
Yeah... mine always turn out lopsided as well. :(I think I just tied them in a knot for our invitations because I've had experiences with receiving invitations in the mail with them, and the bow had come untied. So I would even recommend (once you figure out how to tie it correctly) maybe putting a dab of some kind of glue in the center to hold it...? Though your programs won't go through the mail  so you might not have a problem.

That is very nice and definetly do-able.
For mine I bought heavy brown paper and folded it lengthwise. I put a stamp of a flowers on the front and then used embossing powder on it to make it raised. Then i put a little crystal in the center of the bow that was tied around the flowers. I had the inside printed at a printer and tied it all together with a pink bow.

he told me that I shouldn't have the job that I have because I didn't go through the proper steps to get it and that I didn't do an effective job at running the store for the past 3 months because we didn't make our sales plan.....then he told me that he is better than me becasue he has a master's degree...he shut up momentarily when I said I do too
I love your comeback. Good for you!

hello everyone.
