Okay... I was kinda thinking that. I know she likes me in the room while she's in labor... but when it comes time for the actual delivery... things might change. I may at that point--if I'm in the room when it's starting to look like that time's coming--just ask her or say I'm going to wait in the waiting area and see what she says.

Thanks Susan!
At that point in time she won't want to answer. She might be thinking "Get this thing out of me"

So I need advice now...it's nothing major...

So, my SIL is having a Mary Kay grand opening party tonight. My problem...I don't really want to go. I 1. don't buy Mary Kay products 2. won't get to see WHF much this weekend anyway 3. don't feel like driving to where she lives

However, I feel guilty about not going. I feel I'm kinda obligated b/c I'm family...

What should I do? I posted to her on Facebook that I didn't know if I could make it, but she didn't see it b/c she called me saying how she was surprised she didn't hear from me yet. I didn't call b/c I'm not sure what action I should take.

I think you should be her support and tell her when to push.

.....oh wait.... wrong scenario...:lookaroun

Well, you had planned on doing something with WHF. Tell her you had planned on hanging out with him. With how hectic his new job has been, surely she'll understand.

I do have to say, I like Mary Kay's tinted moisturizer. I don't like to wear a lot of makeup, but that's good to give me a little color.

Call her and explain to her the 3 reasons, If she is any kind of person she will understand,

Well, I don't have any plans with WHF yet...but I wouldn't be seeing him much this weekend as I have to work tomorrow and now my mom wants me to go to a stupid seminar on Sunday evening. :brick:

And he'd be fine if I didn't come home tonight. (He was actually kinda talking about hanging out with his brother tonight, but I think his brother will be selling jewelry at the party...not 100% on that though.)

I should explain.

See, his brother makes extra money on the side by selling things...one of the things he sells is jewelry...he buys stuff in bulk and then tries to make a little extra money. He originally was going to do it for a living, but SIL wasn't thrilled with the idea.
