So, I need one last piece of travel advice. I don't have a hotel booked on the way home because 1.) I didn't know how early we'd be leaving Disney and 2.) The last time we traveled home from Disney we were too tired to go all the way back to our hotel we had reserved, and we lost money on that. :(
Don't want to do that again, so do you think it would be okay to just wing it? Or should I make a reservation somewhere just to be safe? :shrug: I think by the 14th, we'll probably leave WDW with the greatest reluctance :lol:, but I don't want to have a super long drive the next day either.

Our experience is that we usually have no trouble getting a room on the road, especailly ones right off the highway. It's not like people are vacationing there, so as long as you stop early enough, you should have no problems.

I say wing it...there will be hotels along the way if you need them...and while you might pay more winging it then having it booked flat out...if you don't need it, it won't be a problem. If you do, they're easy to find.

Oh, awesome. I guess my trip is a "Cali" trip too, since I'm spending a few days at Yosemite as well. But that and DL are it :lol:

Bye Nibblies! I'm just waiting for my DH to get home here...I hope he's not running too late. I have my last round of dishes to do, and then we hope to pack up the van as much as we can tonight.

Let me just say this: You all have been wonderful, these last few months as we've had to postpone and begin counting down all over again our trip to see the Mouse. I will miss our daily craziness here next week, and look forward to returning with lots of stories and pictures to share. This is our last trip to WDW for at least three years, so I am hopeful it is a wonderful experience for our family. I love all of you very much. God bless!
