Thanks Susan - everyone's been so great wishing us an awesome vacation. In about 1 hour, 34 minutes, DH's vacation begins. :D
I wish I was dancing...and almost on vacation.

Oh gah.
Last week, I think I told you our health care company had a glitch in their system which caused them to cancel our coverage and return our payment. I called and was told that it was an error and that I should deposit that check in our checking account and resend the payment. I did that. Today, I went into our checking account online and found that the check was returned for insufficient funds and we were charged $10 for it. :dazzle: :dazzle: :dazzle:
This is a major healthcare company...how could they bounce a check????
So...I got on the phone with them. They told me the girl who told me to redeposit that check made a mistake. They had voided the check they sent to me, therefore, when I deposited it, it bounced. Well that's just great! "What about the check I sent to you?" I asked. Where is it??? I sent it a week ago yesterday. The girl said it's not "in their system yet" and until it shows up, they can't do anything about the payment that has been charged to our checking account or the $10 fee. Fine. Just freaking fine. When will that happen? She didn't know. Whenever it gets "into the &^%^* sysytem". She'll call me and let me know. :dazzle:
So...we're out the check we sent and the amount of the check they bounced plus the $10 till...whenever they get around to straightening it out. And...I had a ton of work I was supposed to do this afternoon and I haven't even looked at it yet because I spent the entire time on the phone!!!! :cry: :cry: :cry:

How awful! Obviously that company is either going through some major transitions, does not train their employees well, or just has poor communication within their system.

You won't believe this, but our daughter actually works for this company, loves it and all of us have always considered it very reliable. :rolleyes:
I don't know why this is happening, but I'm really crazy over it. I'm writing an email to the CEO, but I'm waiting till I calm down, which I can't seem to do. I think I'm more upset over the time wasted. I won't get that back.
Our daughter could probably take care of it for us, but I'd rather not put her in the middle, if we can avoid it.
