Raising Up Disney

I spent the day with a six year old boy, whose family frequents WDW. He and I were riding to the mall (to see Herbie) and out of nowhere, he starts whistling "The March of the Cards" from Alice and Wonderland/The Mad Tea Party... I thought it humorous, and whistled along with him.

It wasn't until we reached the line for the ticket booth at the theater, that i realized how 'disney' this kid is. After I got our tickets (changed our minds to see the first half of Fantastic 4), he looked up at me and said, "Did you get fastpasses so we don't have to wait behind all these people."

I could not stop laughing!

thats how our girls are... they know no other way...i mean both have disney themed rooms..our house (tastefully done) is disney all over....all we play in our car is disney music..right now the happiest celebration cd is a big hit in our car!! all planes go to disney according to our 4 year old.. and the baby says plane..donald duck...lol...yes it is comical...i love how much of disney nuts we are and how we in a nice way brain washed them....lol...i guess its pretty bad when your 4 year old sees a public transportaion bus and says" hay mama that looks like our bus in disney". yup poor things ....their totally obsessed.....could be worse.. :)

That's too funny.

Our daughter's nursery is all in Mickey. I expect she'll be raised a Disney fan and I look forward to taking her to the parks in a few years. But if it turns out she doesn't like it for some reason, that's cool too.

My youngest daughter started seeing a speech therapist yesterday and apparently all they talked about for an hour was WDW. In her short 4 years she has been to WDW somewhere in the neighborhood of 20 times and refers to WDW as "home".

LOL! That's how I am too, but I'm only 16!!! I already have a Fantasyland playroom planned out and everything. I can't wait to get married and have kids so I can raise my little Disney kids. YAY!:sohappy:

It sounds like it could have been my 5 year old. He's been there 6 times (out of the womb, twice in the womb). Him and I have gone twice alone as a father and son thing which we both loved. I highly recommend it for anyone who thinks about it.

i have a feeling our kids will be very Disney-savy...we shall teach them the ways of WDW :D i find it so cute when little kids talk about the parks and such, hearing a 2 year old say "cindella catle" just puts a smile on my face
