Railroad Closing??

With the upcoming closure of Toon Town for the FL expansion, are they going to be closing the Railroad?? :shrug: The way the expansion appears, htey are going to have to move the track substantially so will that close right away?

The most recent thing I've seen is a photo of a model, at this URL:

It looks to me like the stations by Splash Mountain and the Barnstormer are intact. I'm not sure what path the tracks take between them, but there is already one attraction that the railroad goes through. If they're going to expand beyond the existing tracks, I'd expect something similar to be done. Given how many changes would be required in other areas of the park if the railroad were to close, including the entrance way (probably the second most prominent feature after the castle), the last thing I'd expect them to do would be to eliminate the railroad. Although temporarily closing it is probably a strong possibility.

The station may close for theming work around the platform if it isn`t 3rd shift, but all the expansion is within the current railroad.

I read somewhere the RR will be down for 3 to 4 months due to construction with the expansion.

Yeah, and I seem to remember that where I read it was an "official" place, but I can't remember for the life of me where it was
