The name is official... Ragland Road Irish Pub @ Pleasure Island. Signs have been placed on the constructions walls. The exterior concept art is ultra-modern looking, but I bet the interior (which is not pictured) is more authentic Ireland like. In addition to the concept art, there are also famous quotes from Oscar Wilde and others on the Irish people and culture AND insights on the experience one would have at this new establishment.

Point of Clarification, please....

Is it "Ragland"...or "Raglan" (without the "D")???

Thanx!

According to "News of the Walt Disney World Resort" (publication given to all Disney Good Neighbor hotels) It is Raglan Road- and it says it is opening in July! :sohappy:

Ahhhhh... Raglan Road, one of the best poems ever written... sigh.... :)

On Raglan Road on an Autumn Day,
I saw her first and knew
That her dark hair would weave a snare
That I may one day rue.
I saw the danger, yet I walked
Along the enchanted way
And I said let grief be a falling leaf
At the dawning of the day.

On Grafton Street in November,
We tripped lightly along the ledge
Of a deep ravine where can be seen
The worst of passions pledged.
The Queen of Hearts still baking tarts
And I not making hay,
Well I loved too much; by such and such
Is happiness thrown away.

I gave her the gifts of the mind.
I gave her the secret sign
That's known to all the artists who have
Known true Gods of Sound and Time.
With word and tint I did not stint.
I gave her reams of poems to say
With her own dark hair and her own name there
Like the clouds over fields of May.

On a quiet street where old ghosts meet,
I see her walking now away from me,
So hurriedly. My reason must allow,
For I have wooed, not as I should
A creature made of clay.
When the angel woos the clay, he'll lose
His wings at the dawn of the day.

Brought to us by the same people who operate Nine Fine Irishmen at the New York New York in Vegas. If Raglan Road is anything like Nine, I'll be happy!:slurp:

sorry about adding the "d" on Raglan... I was at PI, so I was drunk. Do you expect me to remember all the details?

No problem!

Thanx for the info....just wanted to make sure I had it right.

Earlier correspondence had it without the "D", so I was just checking to see if it was changed for some reason!

THE FIRST ROUND IS ON ME!
