I've been several times and always had good food. Some great service and some mediocre service. Just like any other restaurant, depends on how croweded, who's doing the cooking that night. Always give a second try. We had horrible experience at Le Cellier the first time (bad food, lousy service, etc.) Want to try again to see if just an off nite. Sometimes we all go in with certain expectations and if they aren't met we get disappointed. Maybe we should just go to a restaurant with no expectations and see what happens.

hmm. never have ate there, but I am gonna have to give it a try. I learned a long time ago to prett ymuch never go by reviews.. It always differs and some of my favorite places have had mixed reviews.

Service at almost any restaurant can vary substantially from one meal to the next, but I've not had a bad experience at Raglan Road in the handfull of times I've been there.

I suppose it is fair to wonder if those who order drinks with free refills get less service than those who order other types of drinks. :lookaroun Not that it should matter in a perfect world, but I'm sure it does.

Just like when I show up in any restaurant with a couple of noisy young kids, the service seems to get off to a slow start more often than not. :lol:

I'd say give it one more try. I've eaten there at least half a dozen times including SEP and DEC 2009 and I've always had great service. My advice would be to stick to their burgers and salads that seems to be their wheelhouse. I'd also try and catch them one a night with a band. The atmosphere really kicks up.

I agree with those that love the place.

It's a must-go-to every trip. The food is above average, the service has been stellar and the entertainment well above average.

Tried it for the first time in Jan. Enjoyed the dinner (salmon with maple glaze) and the entertainment. We came back later in the week just for the entertainment and Bailey's and coffee.:slurp:
