What have I done wrong? Everybody seems to THINK I had a bad attitutte, when I didn't. You cannot perceive somebody's attitude through text, and all I was trying to do was help. If there's a problem with me trying to help, then I simply don't understand these boards. I'm sorry for any trouble I've caused, but you must understand that I did not try to look for a fight with anybody, more over, I was trying to show Ryan his wrongs.

You appear to have bad attitude because of the WAY you say things in a text format. We obviously cannot say whether you actually have a bad attitude in person or not, BUT all we can do is to interpret what you TYPE. And pretty much everyone here is interpreting some of what you say as being rather unhelpful and harsh.

Example...
"Oh well. They'll have to live with it. "

That suggests to me that you are basically dismising what has been said to you, and that you dont care and are just going to carry on doing it. Whether that is true or not is not the point. The point is that it is perceived as being rather rude in a text only format.

So before you think what I'm saying is rude or mean towards somebody else, ask me, don't jump to conclusions. What you should have said was, "That reply seemed rude, or mean." Not, "Your reply was rude and mean."

And just as you "were trying to let" me "know that there was a nicer way to say it", I was trying to let Ryan know that he had posted in the wrong forum. I should have told him what forum to place it in, and tell him that I didn't have any quotes, but I didn't, and I apologize for that.

Some of your posts lately are telling people wrong forum.
First of all you are not a moderator and you are not Steve.
So don't sweat it
That's why certain people exist on this sight.
Let them do their job.
As for getting a read on tone from text pal.
What do you think pal inferred in my text.
It does come across as rude and only rude their is no other intepritation for the word in that context pal.
Next time someone post in the wrong forum let the right people handle it and all this unpleasentness can be avoided

Be careful Hyperion, if there is the slightest doubt of your posts being rude or mean, people does notice. I would suggest you to use smileys too. We have been trying lately to avoid those kind of remarks when people post in boards that are not the "most correct" ones because our remarks can make people refrain from posting. In case you haven´t noticed, we are avoiding those comments because they, most of the times, come across as mean and we don´t want to be a mean group of "oldies" to the newbies (or anyone else). I was giving you an advice and I could "feel" your attitude mainly in your reply to Steve. Then... you apologized...

I´m done with this thread. I want to thank DisneyCp2k for those quotes! I love quotes too! I hope someone posts more!

Dude, GROW UP! you sound like a little brat who just got caught doing something wrong and now you do not want to take the blame for it. If people are trying to tell you that you have an attitude problem, maybe you should do a little thinking about why people are saying it, and try to make some changes instead of arguing.
