We've been talking about our ADR's and everything... So from being on these forums I've heard that Boatwright's has a good breakfast. My question is do we need an ADR for breakfast there? We'll be staying at POFQ from Sept. 26-Oct. 3 '08.
We stayed at POR in Feb '06 and had ADRs in the morining from Boatwrights because we thought that we would need them. The resturaunt was half empty when we got there so we probably didn't need them. I would say make ADRs for ALL of your planned meals, it doesn't hurt and I don't understand why you wouldn't. You don't want to have to find another place to eat that might be out of your way just because you decided not to make reservations. We've been talking about our ADR's and everything... With a family of 8 that is usually there in a group of 10, my family does not plan more than one sit-down breakfeast a trip (just too hard to get 10 people ready in the morning). I would make the reservations and then cancel them the morning before or just let them pass if you decide not too. The food is amazing at boatwrights. The thing is I'm not a breakfast kind of person so we rarely go out for a big one. So we wanted to know because we "planned" to just head over there one morning that the urge struck us. If we go it'll be the only breakfast stop we'll make.
Breakfast is fun to have there, even if it is an early lunch for those that don't eat first thing. Here is the menu. The specialty to have when at Boatwrights is the Banana stuffed French Toast. I echo the comment on making an ADR for any meal where you have specific dates identified.
I'll be down the Sept 28 to Oct 2, so maybe I'll see you there!
