I have let people go infront of us too while the rest of our group got in line. I also try to stay out of the way when we are waiting on someone or while I am taking a picture.:)

Thanks everybody

I appreciate your responses.

I was somewhat reluctant to pose the question, as I feared it may deteriorate into something ugly. Thankfully, it did not.

Laura 22, I think, put it best. There is a difference between going around after you have reached the back of the line of people and when you haven't even reached the back of the line yet, or maybe can't even see the back of the line.

Thanks again.

When we were leaving DTD to catch the boat back to POFQ, there was a lady and her son in front of us. The son was enthralled with the TV screens that showed clips from DisneyQuest or something like that and he wanted to show his mom one of the clips. Well, the clips had to cycle back through and the kid is now holding up the narrow line of tired guests behind him. I said very politely to his mom: "Oh, I think the line has moved up a little." The lady turned and said to me: "Well, my son wants to show me something." So I took it upon myself to wait a couple of seconds, then slide very discreetly in front of her.

There was some scoffing from her for about 5-10min. while we waited for the boat to arrive. And I know we were all going to the same place, but for me it was the principle of the thing.

You don't just stop on a narrow boat dock queue to wait for something to replay on a stupid TV screen. It would have been different if there was no one else around. Then you can watch the TV play over and over again. :D
