1. No business as usual HP will hardly affect WDW at all.

Islands of Adventure has not impacted WDW. Although neither IOA or WDW had massive July 4 weekend crowds.

1. To answer number 1 no it has had no negative affect on Disney in fact from what I have heard it has helped because people think Harry Potter is at Disney so more people have been going there.

2. The main street electrical parade is something very cool and different than you have ever seen with many different colored lights and all of the characters. So it will be something that you will never forget.

So I hope you have a great time and make great memories. If this is your first time try to take it all in when you first get there because these are memories you will never forget. I am also going down there next week and staying at Bay Lake so I hope we both can have great times at this magical place. :sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

I dont know about the first question.

Take the time to see the MSEP. I have an AP to DL/DCA, and the parade is AMAZING. My favorite parade.

We will be there next week also (flying in on Sunday:ROFLOL. I will make a point to see the MSEP. I just wish they still had the Blue Fairy. (i am about the only person I know who is in enthralled with Tink)

Completely agreed. Being from Western Canada, it's easier/cheaper to get to DL rather than WDW, so I've had the chance to see the MSEP quite a bit and it is easily the best parade I've seen at any Disney park.

There has also been a significant upgrade to the music that's played during MSEP. Really cool how they blend so many movie theme songs. Don't miss this one. The 11pm is my favorite time.
