Questions About Sci-Fi Dine-In

Wow, I honestly don't remember. I THINK they're all cars, maybe some tables for people who might have trouble getting in or out of the cars, but more cars than not.

ADR would do their best to honor any request. They just can't guarantee it.

No... there are lots of tables that are not car tables. They will do their best to put in you in a car table at time of arrival. Just make your request known.

You'll find wheelchair, highchair and assisted seating usually takes the regular tables while, the average family takes the car booths. Unless you have kids with you - don't bother asking for the front seat... lol... they keep those for little people :)

There are a number of regular seeting tables. I am a rather large person and its difficult to sit in the car booths. Not so much fitting in, its the getting in and out. Its an awkward angle. Next trip I think we are going to request a table.

Wow I did not realize that..... I've always sat in a car.. I'd be so ticked off if they didnt put me in a car..

They are at the back of the drive in. Most people dont see them because your attention is drawn almost imediately to the movie screen and all those lovely B horror movies!!! :sohappy:

I think you can only request the car table once you get to the restaurant. It may take a little longer than if you just accepted any table, but they won't force you to take a regular table if you want a car.

We have gotten the car tables on both of our trips. We shared a car with another couple the last trip, while my daughter slept next to me. The first trip she was in a high chair and the oldest daughter, husband and myself had to share one row in the car.

I thought the tables in the back kind of looked like picnic tables, but I cannot remember to clearly. I remember a limo type vehicle that had chairs along the side, but that is all I can remember right off.

Yea, the tables in the back look like outside fast food tables complete with fiberglass umbrella. Inside it's meant to look like outside at night so you get the feeling of being at a real drive in.

I was told by the Disney Dining that if you make an ADR it is for a car. If you walk up, you can request a car and usually get one.

There are also cars available for guests traveling in wheel chairs and larger guests. The table is front to back and one side of the car is missing to accommodate the chair.
