Question regarding 2010 Olympics

With the winter Olympics coming in 2010 does anyone know if the countries in Epcot will be selling Olympic themed merchandise? Also will WDW be selling any Olympic themed pins :shrug: Thanks for your time

Not sure but I can tell you that I have seen Roots apparel in WS before and that is the brandware that the Olympic athletes wear.

They did EXCESSIVELY for the 2008 Summer Olympics. I'm guessing they will.

At least sell some olympic merch in canada... maybe use some of the empty space upstairs for it.

Not sure, but when I visisted WDW in August 2008, I stopped by China and in one of their gift shops they sold Summer Olympics 2008 merchandise -- the pandas, t-shirts and hats.

As well, Disney pins had special 2008 summer olympics pins.

I would suspect that Canada would have 2010 winter olympics merchandise for sale in February.

Actually, Roots hasn't been the official supplier for a while now [since 2005]. The Canadian Olympic team is entirely outfitted by The Hudson's Bay Company.

EDIT: And Ralph Lauren now outfits the American Olympic team.

The Norway sweater shop (Puffin's Roost?) had a small selection of Vancouver 2010 clothing. However, like everything else in that store, it was extremely expensive. Haven't been by lately, so I'm not sure if they still have any.
