Question for any Character Attendents out there

Hey if there are any character attendents reading this I was wondering, Do you get a different charcter each day? Or do you always work with the same character. Also, do you work in the same place or park every day, or do you get to travel to every park? Sounds like a fun role, any downsides?

I think that with most roles the character handlers are assigned to their location and stick there. I also have a feeling that they are assigned a character on a daily basis, and it probably shifts throughout the day based on breaks and what not. I could be wrong, but based on what I know and what makes sense logistically, I would think this would be the way to go.

Character attendants are globally based, rotational role. They can work any of the four theme parks and any of the resorts with character meet & greets or dining, and are not tied to any specific characters. My roommate was literally all over the place in terms of assignments.

Scheduling will have your scheduled locations posted about a week in advanced.

With more seniority, non-CP/Seasonal attendants can bid for certain, highly desirable locations.

Thanks for the clarification for me...didn't know they had them going everywhere. Learn something new every day.

Character attendants could be scheduled to work in any of the 4 parks, with just about any character(s). Sometimes you can be scheduled to work in the same area for several days in a row. I had times where all week I would be in Toontown, or at Pooh's Playground.

Being a character attendant is sooooo much fun. I absolutely love it!

Actually, it is both. Some people float through all the theme parks and lots of characters. Some people stay with the same character day in and day out. Off the top of my head, Jasmine & Aladdin have a regular character attendant in MK, as do the princesses in ToonTown, Hook & Smee/Peter & Wendy in Adventureland, Mickey in the Judge's Tent and others. It depends on your bid. Last bid, one woman was always with Mickey and this bid she guards the castle stage. One woman used to be with JoJo and Goliath and the next bid she was with Ratatoille.

Exactly. You can change areas for every bid. You don't have to stay in the same area (unless you want to). I can't wait til I am FT so I can bid.
