Question about the bus service

Staying at the Beach Club allows the luxury of not having to deal with taking the bus to EPCOT or MGM. However, what's the general feedback as far as getting to/from the Magic Kingdom?

Am I better off walking to EPCOT and then using the monorail? Or is the amount of time on the bus minimal?

To use the monorail at Epcot would require you to walk to the International Gateway, enter Epcot, walk all the way through Epcot, exit the park, get on the monorail, change trains at the TTC and then finally arrive at the Magic Kingdom.

It's a nice trip if you have nowhere to be and just want to enjoy your travels, but if you need to get anywhere in some semblance of "quickly", the bus is faster than all of the above.

I stay at the BC every year. I walk to epcot and boat to DHS.

The bus to MK is faster than walking though epcot. Walking through epcot literally takes me almost 15-20 min,

We stayed at YC. We did it both ways - took the monorail and the bus. It ended up being about the same amount of time, the bus may have been about 5 to 10 mins faster. Its a long trek through the IG to the front of Epcot and then through the monorails (since you have to change monorails). If you wanted to just simply avoid the bus, you can do it, but if you are in any kind of hurry, especially first thing in the a.m., then take the bus.

Thanks! Looks like the bus is in my future. At least in the morning it's full of kids that are all excited to see MICKEY instead of at night when it's full of adults that need a nap.
