Question about MK ticket

You can't simply just enter another park with it. I'm sure you could exchange it for another park ticket or park hopper with no problem though.

Ok. I just wanted to make sure. I don't even need this ticket because it came in a package for an event my daughter is in, and we have non hopper tickets for our entire stay. I was thinking that she could use it to get into a different park if her friends went to a different one than us.
I actually called Disney and asked if I could get a credit for it but she was not sure. she didn't even know if we could get into a different park with it. She told me to check with guest relations.
She works for the events so that could be why she didn't know.

Ooooh, I don't know if the fact that it's coming from a package will stop them from exchanging it for you. I would still guess it wouldn't be a problem since technically they're making a $5 profit for switching from MK to another park. Hopefully it works out for you, good luck!

Try calling "existing tickets" and see if they know. Also, if you are staying on property, you can call your resort directly and speak to the concierge who tend to be very knowledgeable about tickets.

Adding on to what @Monty said, even if its not a Comp, you may not be able to upgrade it. The event tickets that come through the sporting events group are also non upgradable, even though those need to paid for. Albeit at a highly discounted rate. A good rule of thumb, if the ticket has certain dates of use, typically 14 days before or after the event date, it won't be upgradable.

So basically you have two separate tickets? A one day and your package tickets? So why cant she used them both in one day?

It's a regular ticket from what they said. It will be mailed to me this week so I will know more then. It better be a regular ticket because I paid for one. I will let you know when I get it.
