Thanks for all the help!

Does anyone know any sites that go into minute detail on the different versions? Something like this site based on Snow White's Scary Adventures.

http://www.kennetti.fi/snowwhitescaryadventures.html

Like for example, in the current version when you see the eye exam, what exactly was in that space in the Journey Into Your Imagination version?
As far as I know, the video posted earlier from Martin's Vids is as good as it gets.

Just as you enter that section you saw Dreamfinder and the Largest Polage

Would love to see a return to Imagination 1.0 (with 21st century flourishes, of course. For example, the laser show in the middle of the ride could be updated to 21st century technology).

Maybe if they used the trackless technology Tokyo's Pooh ride is famous for, and had a larger room that could allow more cars, we could get around this problem?

For years people here have been saying this and for years I have replied. The current building has many elevations that this system would not work. They'd have to completely gut the entire building and replay the foundation (demolition) in order for that to work.

Pity they can't or should I say, won't find the money to open the upstairs part again. Add a fast food restaurant up there if you must to make some money and surely it would pay for itself over time? To be honest, 'back in the day' I never found the upstairs quite as exciting as some are painting it. It was worth visiting certainly and had some charm, however it wasn't a stand out feature of Epcot or even the Imagination Pavilion in my opinion anyway.

However is does bug me slightly when we go knowing that space is vacant up there, they certainly could do something with it and should do. The view alone makes me feel 'cheated' that we're no longer allowed to visit it and I'm sure many others agree.

I'm sorry, but whenever I see the dark Rainbow Corridor...I just want to sneak up there, try and find a magical plug, and turn that baby on. I think I miss that more than the ride!

The irony of that laser show is that it never worked like it should.
The laser was supposed to project Figment and other custom shapes, but due to a lack of time/money the programming was never finished and it just ran the demo program for the entire life of the ride.
