My Family is planning a trip to Disney World for late Oct early November. My Mom would love to see the Christmas Decorations at the resorts and Parks. Does anyone know around what time in Nov do they start to put up the Decorations. The earliest I have seen is around Nov 17

Please help so I can book this vacation and surprise my Mom,

Thanks all

The Osborne Lights and MVMCP start on 11/13, so that should be an indicator of the earliest that activities start. If you wait a bit longer more Christmas programs and decorations all around the World should be ready to enjoy too.

Christmas is our favorite time. Most the rehabs are done, the temps and humidity are much nicer, the crowds are lesser, except for Christmas week and Thanksgiving week.

Wait till Candlelight Processional is going and Holidays are the World are up as well as the Holiday themed parades later in November if you can.

We have been there during the week of Thanksgiving, twice, and the majority of the decorations are up. They are amazing no matter what amount they have out. I believe they use a total of 130 trailors for all the decorations, so you might understand why they may not have too much out.

We were there at the end of Oct/beginning of Nov last year, and they had decorations up on 11/1. We were at MGM that day, and there were MANY decorations up. Problem was, none of them were lit yet, so they weren't nearly as good as they could have been. Anyone know when those in the parks get turned on?

Osbourne lights start going up in Sept i believe but they are not lit.

Last year they started putting up the Osborne Lights in late July. Which is way to early for me. By August the Streets of America are a mess. The lights do not get turned on till mid November. Now this year MK should be fully dressed by November 13 as previously said the MVMCP will be opening this year almost 2 weeks early.

when i was in mgm last august they were putting up what i now know to be the osborne family lights. at the time i refused to beleive it was that, because it seemed waaaay too early for that considering the lights dont even go on until november. i dont think the lights themselves were up but the structures that looked like angels and other holiday things were up. does it really take that long to get all those decorations up? i mean thats practically half the year for these things to be up, but only "on" for two months!
