Hello! We are going to disney in March and want to do dinner at Chef Mickeys.
How do you get there?
Which park is closest? What park would you do with this dinner. We will be off property and doing 3-4 days at WDW.

We already have breakfast at the Castle for the day at MK.
thanks!

Chef Mickey's is in the Contemporary, which is within walking distance and on the monorail route from the Magic Kingdom. If you're at another park for the day, driving to the Contemporary is easy enough. Just follow the signs to the MK and once you get through the parking toll booths, veer off to the right and follow the signs to the Contemporary.

If you are going to be staying off property wont you have to go through the ticket and transportation center? If so you should be able to take the monorail from Mk to the resturaunt and back to the TaTC no problem. My family got stuck on the monorail from Epcot to Chefs for a character meal and ended up 15 minutes late but still got right in for our seating. I personally wouldnt go to Chefs again but my kids liked it for the characters.

With proof of reservation, a person can park at the Contemporary. Plus I believe they won't even have to pay anything at the toll booth. Then it should be a matter of walking to MK or grabing the monorail to head elsewhere after the meal.

You mean proof of a reservation for dinner right?

We have never stayed off property, but have visited other resorts for dinner...just tell them you are going to dinner at the Contemporary.

From the MK I would take the monorail, from EPCOT take the monorail to the TTC, switch over to the MK line & head to the Contemporary. From AK or MGM you could take a bus, but I would drive...tell them at the gate you are there for dinner & you should get a limited parking pass. (3 hrs I think).

I have only eaten at Chef Mickey's for breakfast, but have family who did the dinner there & they enjoyed it...all a matter of taste I guess. Have fun.

Yep, I'm sorry about that. I was speaking about a dinner reservation. Some signs at the Contemporary indicate proof is needed. At the Floridian, it seems they take you at your word. YMMV
