I just recently wrote a thread pertaining to which is the best value resort. Thank you for the all the responses it is a great help. But again a question, so Pop has its own bus what does that mean in regards to other value resort and sports is the 1st pick up and drop off, We were gonna stay at movies but know I hear it is the last pick up and drop off, I am a very impatient person so I need to get to the parks as quick as possible, My family and I stay at the contemporary its doesn't get anymore convience then that so anyone please help me choose what value best suits our needs in this sense
thanks

In reality, there isn't a huge difference in ANY of the bus services to the value or the moderates - what usually makes a difference in the number of people jammed onto your bus. They are all radio controlled and dispatched - more when there are a lot of people waiting, less when there are only a few. If you don't want to ride around to one or two other stops, then Pop is the way to go in the values, but that itself won't make a lot of difference in the time it takes to get to your parks, or how crowded your busses are.

I have never stayed at Pop so I cannot comment on their buses however I always stay at Sports (I have also stayed at Movies and Music). I will never stay at Movies again for the fact that the whole bus situation was HORRIBLE. It seemed as though we waited forever for buses. Being a Disney Veteran I can truly say staying at Movies was my worst bus experience ever. It is the last pickup, which means in the morning when you are waiting to go to Magic Kingdom the bus picks you up last so you usually end up standing. Then at night it just seems like you wait longer.
IMO it doesn't matter WHERE you stay on property, transportation is going to be a pain because everyone is trying to get to the same place at the same time. But I definately would recommend staying at Sports if you do pick AS Resorts.

I Guess

I Stayed At All Star Movies In April & Pop Century In September, I Guess Pop Is Better On The Bus Situation. I Still Like Movies Both Times I Stayed But Pop Is A One Stop Hotel, Not Bad. Pop Is All The Same As All Stars As Far As Theme Quality, Pools, Food Courts(more Or Less), Bars. Pop Does Have A Lake In The Middle Full Of Snapper Turtles & Huge Catfish, Good Spot To Get Away From It All If You Have Had A Hectic Day, Very Quiet Spot, Hard To Find In Wdw.

I cant tell you how many times we have stayed at the Dolphin for half price. We use the Entertainer Coupon book and get 50% off.
Eventhough the price is still $169...you just cant beat the connvience to MGM, EPCOT, and Boardwalk.

The only drawback is that they only reserve so many rooms at that price and dont usually release them too far out from your trip. If I was to call the today and said I needed a room in 8 days then it may be available....if I was trying to book a room for 3 months in the future.....NO WAY!!

Pop Century has its own buses, this is true. However, the All-Star resorts can and do have their own buses as well - it just depends on what time you are coming/going to your destination. If you are heading to a park at 7am, you're going to share a bus with the other AS resorts. If you're heading back to your hotel at, say, MK close, you'll probably get your own bus. If you want the shortest bus rides, Pop is your choice.

The Preferred Buildings at both Pop and the AS resorts are the buildings surrounding the main pool area. You'll pay $10 more per night to stay in these buildings, which tend to have more noise due to their proximity to the main building. We typically try to stay at buildings close to the front, but away from the pool area (like, Football at ASSports). All the buildings are roughly the same age, but some may be showing wear and tear more than others.
