Quality Time in Dumbo's Playground Queue?

Hey there hi there ho there WDWMagic-keteers...

My kids have some strong memories from our last trip, one of the strongest being how much fun they had in the playground/queue/waiting area for Dumbo. There were tears when we had to leave, you know, to go on the stupid ride which can't be nearly as much fun as unstructured air conditioned fun on a giant circus themed playground.

Anyone know if they'll let you stay longer once your pager goes off? Or Heaven forbid, give you access to the playground without riding Dumbo? I'm assuming the answer to the latter is no, if only because the place can only hols so many people safely and letting others in messes up the max limit. But for all I know it's built to handle way more people than what the queue would normally have to handle.

Any answers, as always, is appreciated.

Pretty sure you can get access to the playground without riding Dumbo, at-least they use to let you do that...

You can stay in there for as long as you want after your pager goes off. The pager going off is just the "soonest" you can ride it. Anytime after it goes off you can immediately get in line. I love hearing that other peoples kids are so in to this too because my kids LOVE it and my little boy could spend an hour in there easy. I like that it's maybe a whole "generational" thing. I was sad to see Dumbo leave his original place and considered it a "rite of passage" to ride it behind the castle but I guess now there will maybe be a generation who considers the playground a rite of passage. Pretty cool.
