I have been thinking qbout making PS for my trip. I thought I would make them for lunches. I figure it would be a nice way to break up the day. Get a little sit down time and a nice meal. Thinking about Le Cellier/Rose and Crown/Akershus. But I also think that dinner PS would be a nice way to end the day. Thinking about Portobello and Fulton's. Any suggestions? Thanks :veryconfu

Lunch is almost always less expensive than dinner. You can check menus to confirm this.

I like to do a late lunch--as late as possible--3:00 or so, then make do with snacking the rest of the evening.

Confirm with WDW-DINE about the times for the last lunch.

Yesssss....Lunches are always cheaper in most cases.....for example...Biergarten in German in Epcot is $14.99 for lunch...but after 4pm (dinner) it jumps up to $19.99.

I made all my PS's yesterday...and most of them are late lunches as well (2-3pm ish) :)

I usually do PS for breakfast and lunch. Having a snack for lunch. They give you so much food, that lunch really isn't necessary.

I am making PS all day with my company. I know it can get very confusing.

Akershus is one of our favorites. However our kids hate it. We have been to Norway and loved the food. Its very heavy on seafood and dessert is extra. The only things our kids ever eat is the meatballs, ham and eggs. They did smile at the paint your own troll cookies and the beverages are a little pricey, but heah its your vacation, Enjoy!

I have heard that due to overwhelming demand, the staff at Rose & Crown will not make promises about outside seating.

I guess when your name comes up, you get the first available table.

Not surprisingly, guests were getting extremely nasty and insistent about sitting outside.

However, if you're eating inside during Illuminations (we timed it to coincide with dessert) the CMs (at least when we were there and couldn't get an outside table) are very nice about showing you the best place to stand outside to watch without blocking someone else's view. :)

Also note that many people stretch a 7PM (or earlier)reservation until 9!

Sorry I haven't been hipped to what a PS is (anybody?) but we dined at the chinese restaurant (I am so with it today) and got a great view of the fireworks and no one in our way. Sshh, its my little secret.
