Proof of Age for My "Soon-to-be" 3 Year Old

Hello folks, we are going to WDW in July and my daughter turns 3 the 1st week of August. Will I need to take a copy of her birth certificate with me at each park entrance to get her in? She is a very mature 2 year old and people always think she is at least 3 after seeing/talking to her, so will I need to show proof of age much at Disney? Thanks for your help, I just want to make sure things go smooth each day at the gates.

My son was almost 3 when we went on our first trip, and we were never questioned about his age at any point. This was several years ago, and with the changes in tickets, maybe someone else has a more current answer.

I do know several families who claimed their kids were under 3 when they were just over 3, and it was never questioned for them either. Not that I condone it, just that I think they'll take your word for it, I suppose.

I have never been questioned about the ages of my boys, even though they were always in the top percentile of their growth charts.

You won't need it for getting into the parks, but if you are flying to Orlando (or anywhere else for that matter), then you should bring a copy. Some airlines can be really fussy about this. We had to show both the 4 year old and 7 month olds certificates on the way home this past trip(first time we've ever had to pull them out in 4 years of travelling with kids).

As far as getting into the parks, our first trip this year was the first time our oldest needed a ticket. We bought an annual pass for her (as well as the adults). One day we forgot to use my daughter's AP going into MK. Both of my kids were in our stroller. I put my AP into the machine, did the biometric thing, grabbed my pass and pushed the girls into the park. Since I hadn't used her ticket to get into the park, I realized I couldn't get any fastpasses for her. :hammer:

When we were there with our daughter who turned three less than 2 months after our trip It was never questioned and she quite tall for her age. And a friend of our went in feb. and there son was already 3 1/2 and had no probles she just told them he was two when make reservations and fudged the month a little. remember charicter dinnings are also free for under 3. Thats a great value.
