I kind of got the sense that it was a local that wrote it being that it was based on a true story. It had me believing that’s what you guys actually call the team. Didnt consider the lawsuit angle

Actually I hate to break it to you, its not based on a true story. At least not one from this region. The closest is the Sierra Lamar case, but she was never found as far as I know, but the guy who did it was caught but it wasn't computer history that solved it like in the movie.

But there are certainly recent cases across the US of missing children where computer history was used in a similar nature.

It literally touches my heart that he thinks Bob Iger liked his post. There is something so sweet and innocent about that. I mean genuinely. People like this need protected from the harsh realities of the cold, mean world or just from reality in general. It reminds me of a newborn baby.
