Princess themed rooms coming to Port Orleans Resort

Well they can just either have a clap on or motion sensor to took the floor off.

You are looking at it wrong, think of these princess accessories as merchandise you don't even have to leave your room to buy.

I knew that the Nickelodeon hotel would effect disney.

Agreed, we stayed there after our land and sea cruise, and well it was just shocking that a disney resort room would be very subtle with any of the disney theme touches.

Meh...I like the rooms themselves, but the location is bad. The contrast between Old South and Disney Princess at your door is just too jarring. The Pirate rooms at Caribbean Beach, which I like a lot, make sense the theme has a basis in Caribbean history.

What's wrong with the Magnolia Bend decor? I would think the princess crowd would be interested in the Southern Mansion-type environment. After all, Magnolia Bend is architecturally similar to the home of Charlotte and Big Daddy from The Princess and the Frog. The scope of themed experiences at WDW go beyond the films, and Disney should promote the Old South theme and let people know how engaging it is rather than treat it like the booby prize. Magnolia Bend is a very pleasant and immersive location between the buildings and landscaping.

Allow me to reiterate that I really, really like the rooms. If I wanted more princesses outside the parks, I would love to book one of these rooms if they were at a resort that complemented their theme. But when I choose POR as opposed to other resorts in this price range, part of the reason for doing so is because I want the Old South theme.

EDIT: If they kept the theme limited to The Princess and the Frog, I would like these rooms a lot more in this location.
