Princess Fairytale Hall First Impressions

They don't tell you who the second princess is when you line up? That is just silly! Guests want to know who they are meeting!
There are medallions on the front signage that show which princesses are there, but at least yesterday the second medallion was blank on the Repunzel side. My guess is that they were rotating them constantly during the day and couldn't commit to a specific princess out front.

So Rapunzel, Merida, and Tiana meet where now?

Rapunzel is in Fairytale Hall, is that right?

Tiana meets...in the gazebo still? Is that right?

What about Merida? Is she in the garden?

And more importantly, what's gonna happen when Frozen comes out? Will we have just Anna? Or Elsa too? And where exactly are they going to put them?

How about we move some of these ladies around in Epcot? Let the new princesses migrate in Epcot so you have better chances at seeing them.

When I went in 2011, we saw Belle (AND Beast) in France, along with Aurora, we saw Mulan in China, Aladdin and Jasmine in Morocco, Alice in England, and Snow White in Germany. Tiana could meet at America, Rapunzel could wander around Germany or Norway, and the Frozen ladies could hang out there too. It'd be nice to be able to have my picture outside, without waiting forever.

My first impressions on seeing PFTH in person: Theming is decent...enjoyed seeing many of the details that can make it special. Area to meet the princesses is nice as well; nicer than where they were on MSUSA, IMO. We used FP to see Rapunzel, and haven't yet seen Cinderella.

Here's what I don't like...what a pain the it is to deal with two separate lines. Not without mention, the two separate FP that are required, and of course, unobtainable at the same time, provide for some pretty long wait times, whether in line or using FP.

Of course, more than anything, I do like to try and see it through the eyes of my daughter...but I think what she had to say really says it all...when I asked her if they should have done this or replaced a ride with a new ride...hands down, she wanted the ride. She thought the meeting place on MSUSA was more than adequate. As much as the setting is important, it really takes second chair to the actual experience of meeting the princess, for her.

I hate to be that uni guy but you know what Ima do it. This thing is not only unimpressive but seriously took forever and a half to build. almost a year and a half. Meanwhile over at universal they build these hyper realistic sets all wonderfully themed for SEASONAL events. And it takes them half the time.

I just can't believe that this is the end result we got after waiting so long. Flame me for this if you guys wan't but I just am not a fan of this new meet and greet. A meet and greet which needs no ride system should be just as easy and quick to build as much as these houses.
I like to think Walt would've wanted you to be that "Universal guy".

It's smaller inside than the pictures make it look. The main interior queue space has high ceilings, but is quite short. Still nice looking, though.

Rapunzel had a 45 min wait, Cinderella 15. Disney may want to reconsider having different princesses in each line. At DLR, you meet three and there's identical lines/rooms/characters.

They do this for the illusion of shorter waits (ie a 45 min wait and a 15 versus one 60 minute line). Same reason there are two lines in Storybook Circus. Also with PFH, the two lines allows for two different FastPass options which creates more FastPass options and eat into those credits (mainly when they go to FastPass+ and you have a cap on how many you get for a given day).

While I get the FP+ gimmick, what I'm suggesting is to have two lines with the same princesses so instead of 45 for one and 15 for the other you get 30 min each or something less.

Elsa and Anna will be met at Norway starting November. Not sure the exact date, just thought I'd let ya know :) and new Ariel will be somewhere in EPCOT, not sure what land. You can meet Snow White and Belle also in EPCOT. So there is a lot of princesses you can meet in EPCOT. I think Tiana wouldn't really fit in at America, since the American look is old time colonial America and Tiana is southern New Orleans.
