Other gems include the following hard-hitting question from "Lee"...

"Comment From Lee
What was your favorite part of the New Princess Fairytale Hall?"

Plus this nugget of insight from Imagineer Jason Grandt...

"Jason Grandt:
The fun thing about working on princess-related projects is all the fun and pretty things we get to do. All of the set dressing that makes these things come to life and is really pretty. That's what makes it fun."

It seems the overriding design philosophy for today's Imagineers is to strive for attractions that are "really pretty"... but also "fun" at the same time. The synergy is amazing...

I guess Lee could no longer withstand the lure of all those $50 gift cards...

And there I was, thinking he'd answer something in the vein of '...well, years of study of secular late-gothic architecture has inspired us to use for the Cinderella area...'
Instead, we get a guy relishing in the fact he finally gets to play for realz with pretty pinky princessy stuff after all those years of secretly playing with his sister's barbie dolls.

That's a nauseating quote!

Speaking of Patricia...

" I hope we get to see some good videos and photos of the opening. I really love that FastPass is being offered. That makes it so much easier on a mom to plan a day in the parks. It takes SO MUCH stress off, knowing we can get that appointment to snap some photos and meet our favorite princesses. I remember when we had to hunt around and trust dumb luck that we’d see the characters we wanted to see. These meet and greets have made everything so much more enjoyable and now they have really come through for us by allowing us to plan our days with FastPass. I am loving it! "

You can meet Cinderella at several different character meals and Rapunzel can only be met here. I know personally if I has eating at a Cinderella character meal we wouldn't be waiting in line for a M&G too.

Is there anywhere in Epcot where Rapunzel meets?

I've got to think that with her popularity that they would add her to the rotation at Akershus or give her some set times at Germany.

As of right now she just meets in PFTH. In fact the Akershus and CRT pretty much just use the same princesses. You think with two princess meal they could mix up the princesses better. Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida, Mulan and Pochanotas don't participate in Character Dining.

I do know that because of her dress Tiana is not involved in Character meals. This is also why Belle meets in the lobby at Akershus and is in her blue provincial dress at CRT.

That makes sense. To bad she can't wear one of the other outfits she wore in the film. I guess they don't want flapper Tiana or waitress Tiana. She had the dress she wore at the party it had a smaller silhouette.

So, I don't get why they don't swap out one of Aurora, Belle, or Snow White in favor of Rapunzel at Akershus. Since all three meet elsewhere in Epcot already and Rapunzel does now.

We went yesterday, both sides. We started on the Rapunzel side because a CM said she thought Snow White was currently visiting (no specific visiting princess was posted outside). The wait was well over an hour, and it was very frustrating to see the Cinderella side of the line just keep moving and moving while our side crawled. There was a steady flow of Fastpass guests on the Rapunzel side, not so much on the other. At least while we were there I observed several flaring tempers because of the way the two lines are side-by-side making it glaringly obvious how much faster the other side moved. the kicker was that when we finally got to the receiving room the visiting princess was Jasmine instead of Snow White, so we had waited 85 minutes for one princess that Ben had never heard of (he's never seen Tangled and has no interest), and another princess he doesn't care about.

The other side went much more quickly, where we met both Cinderella and Aurora.

I thought it was a very nice touch that both receiving rooms have a very prominently featured storybook opened to Snow White, honoring the previous ride in the space.

They don't tell you who the second princess is when you line up? That is just silly! Guests want to know who they are meeting!
