Princess Breakfast!!!

I tried for three days in a row calling at the crack of dawn Last year to get into the royal table breakfast!! Never sucessful!! I Learned that the Cind. Royal Table Only seats about 150 people & that 1200 people "try" to book it within the first 60 minutes of every day at Disney Reservations. This got me to thinking!!

Why in the world would WDW turn down a chance to make 20 bucks a head for some breakfast buffet, when all they have to do is remodel the Royal Table area to seat, lets say 1000 people. They could section them off into castle rooms Provide A cinderella to each room & Roving other characters & then please 500% more people then now. The castle has to have the room & it would pay for itself in no time!

:hammer: :hammer: :hammer:

I should be charging WDW for this great idea.

P.S. I do culinary consulting on the side I can be reached through my private email listed with this site!!!

:D :D :D

We've been trying forever then we went to cancel reservations for Crystal Palace because they were for April and were going next month. So my mom goes well what the hey and some sun was shining on us because we got in. I can't wait! We ate dinner there once but it wasn't the same. We've also done the Norway one which was good but a far walk! lol

Last year, I was told that it needed to be booked "NO MORE THAN 60 DAYS IN ADVANCE." That was the earliest you could book it.

I called about 5 times just to see if we could sneak it in. On the day we were 60 days out, I called right at 9:00 AM and was told that it had been changed to 90 days. It was changed the week before.

To say in the least, I was not happy.

Well, at the risk of aggrivating those who've been frustrated by not getting in, lol, we got exactly the date and time we wanted when I scheduled our Feb. trip. But then again, February is the lowest of low seasons, and ps's aren't hard to get, even that one. :) It was wonderful. Norway is nice, too, and the walk isn't so bad. I'd do that again, as well.

It is difficult to get through, but the breakfast is well worth the effort. The first time I tried to book reservations, Disney's phone lines opened at 6 a.m. my time, and when I called at 6:05, they were already booked. I was on the phone and hitting the redial button at 5:55 the next morning and was able to get through when the phone lines opened. This was by far the best character breakfast we had ever been to because it is so intimate. (And the view overlooking the park is pretty awesome!) I would recommend to anyone to KEEP TRYING!!! especially if you are travelling with little princesses of your own.

I called last year about three weeks before we left. It was around 1:00 in the afternoon and got seating for three. The CM I talked to said that I am the only one she has ever had this happen to. She was almost screaming on the phone.

I only wish I was that lucky when I play the lottery!:hammer:

Well not to rain on anyones parade but on our last trip in 02 we got our ressies. This year I got lucky again on the very first day I called I got an 815am seating for all 12 in our party! I just said "Cinderellas breakfast, 12 people anytime..." the CM just started laughing she was all chatty and said "relax, relax, you've got it you've got it!" I was so thrilled..I thought I was going to be getting up at the crack of dawn everyday for 2 weeks. But booM! got it right off the bat! Our girls already know which costumes they want to wear!

I have usually been kinda lucky regarding that. Of course I also dont do this for every trip, but I got thru for May 25th ( my birthday) for this year and got a lovely 10:00 am ressie!!! I have been able to get it in the past but as I tell everyone, start calling 90 days out from the first morning of your trip, not necessarily the day you want. You may not get the exact date or time you are looking for, but this gives you more of a shot to get in!! I have gotten this breakfast 5 times so far. Pure Irish luck I suppose!! Belle

Geeez from reading all of the above posts it seems as if this is almost impossible to do... So with that being said let me drop some interesting information on you all..

it was 8pm on a Friday in the middle of my 8 day trip to WDW this past January and I looked at my wife and said "lets try to get a breakfast at the castle with the Princesses" So I made the call and the CM told me I would not believe it, but the call right before mine to him was to cancel a reservation for 2 at 8:15 at Cinderellas table for the next day and a table for 2 at 9:00 at the Princess Breakfast at Norway on Sunday...

Guess where we had breakfast the next 2 days... Geeeez if I knew how lucky I was I would have played the lotter that week

How to help beat the odds ofgetting PS at Cindy's

Hey Guys,

I thought I would share my plans on how to ensure our PS at Cinderella's Character Breakfast. Here is what you will need to MAXIMIZE your chances for your PS at Cindy's. Advice taken from tourguidemike.com and he deserves all the credit.

1. WHERE TO CALL - 407-WDW-DINE (939-3463), and Español: 407-WDISNEY (934-7639), opción #2

2. Learn the day this priority seating become available Very Important (more on this further down)

3. Have a credit card standing by to secure the reservation

Here's is my detailed plan that I will use:

Call the day before so you know what to expect: There are different versions of the 'we're open' messages, but if you're really concerned about it, why not call them during normal operating hours the day before your early morning and listen to what their current 'we're open' message is? The most important message to know is their 'we're closed' message so that anything different sounds different once it comes on -- which means they're open. Still ... it's easily worth the 30 seconds and $.07 to know it in advance isn't it

Begin calling a few minutes before what you 'think' is 7 a.m. Who knows what time the Disney Dining office goes by, right? Their '7 a.m.' (East Coast Time) may be different from yours and mine. That's important to realize. I begin dialing by no later than 6:56 a.m.

Program my redial button: Because I know I'm calling 'too early,' I listen for their "We're closed" message and then I hang up. I no longer dial the number from here on out - I just keep using the redial button(s).

Use as many available phone lines you have: I get both phones programmed for redialing and I actually practice using them at the same time. I hold one to each ear, making sure my fingers easily 'know' where both the redial AND hang up buttons are, AND how to return to the redial button, without having to look at it.

Know the difference between their two automated messages: As soon as I hear and/or recognize the "We're closed" message, I hang up immediately and redial! This is another reason why I begin calling early so I'm comfortable recognizing what I hear. If you need to begin even earlier than I do for 'ear practice,' please do.

Disney recently changed their phone announcements that you and I have to wade through when making a priority seating. Knowing what's said can work to your benefit because I'm going to show you what you can skip that will put you even further ahead in the "Cinderella Calling Game!"

Only say what you need to: I know this sounds ridiculous, but every millisecond counts even after you get through. There are up to 300 cast members answering the phones together, and 'your' cast member is in competition with all of them just as much as you are with fellow guests. The moment a 'real' voice comes on the line I say,

"Hi -- Cinderella's, party of 4, as early as possible please."

That's all the cast member needs to try and grab the reservation for you, and they want to be successful just as much as you want to dine there. For them, it's a personal challenge and sort of game to see if they can beat their fellow cast members.

Have 'Plan B' ready: I will have an alternate choice already chosen. Why? Because other excellent choices can be snapped up by all those hundreds of other guests who don't secure a Cinderella priority seating.

These are the guidelines I plan to follow and I will post how it went for me as soon as the PS window opens.

Again, I would like to thank TourGuideMike.com for this information and I highly recommend his website.

Hope this helps

So is it 90 days out that you have to make reservations? I have 3 little princesses that I made the mistake of promising that we coudl eat in the Castle. If I can't get in they are not going to be happy campers.

Yes it is EXACTLY 90 days out. For example the first morning of my next trip is May 25th. I started calling at 6:58 am on March 25th. Had I not gotten that day, I would have called on March 26th for May 26th, March 27th for May 27th etc until I got it.
If you are at all unsure as to when 90 days back is call Disney at 1-407 WDW Dine give them the date that you are looking for and they will tell you the date to start calling. I know there is a PS calculator also but I Am not sure of its location on the Web. Belle
