Princess and the Frog Restaurant?

If they are going to roll this out before the movie, they should do the same for TR2N. I don't think there is anyone out there that wouldn't die to have a Tron attraction.

A Tron attraction would most likely be a major E Ticket and I could see where they would be hesitant to invest that much money ahead of a movie.

But a TPatF restaurant or an overlay of an existing attraction (Tom Sawyers Island for example :lookaroun) seems like a no brainer to me.

Im sorry I just dont see how you can think the film is garenteed to be a sucsess. Just because it has the 1st African American princess doesnt mean in wont flop. Also lets not forget that most od the Princess's of the 90's were of color, Pochahontas, Jasmine, Mulan. Mulan wasnt a box office smash. So to say that it will do good because its the first black Princess it ridiculos. If it is a bad film people will get the word and not go see it.

Also I love the old animation and am glad to see them use it again. It will be interesting to see if young people will embrace it or since its not Pixar style if they will ignore it.

This is the first hand drawn to have all the elements of a classic Disney animation feature that is fully under the control of Lasseter. I see a great story, great characters, great songs, and great animation. All the movies you mentioned lacked at least one of these elements. The fact that it will feature a black lead character is interesting and certainly welcome but this movie appears to be so much more than just that dimension. It might be the most important part of the film that is filled with great concepts that will, I predict, put WDAS back as the leading animation studio in the world.

Hey I hope your right I want it to be good. I just like to see things before I judge them. Disney needs this film to be a sucsses so I hope it works out.

I didnt know Lasseter was doing the film, does this mean Disney can no longer make a sucseesful animated film without Lasseter or PIXAR?

WDAS lacked vision and leadership after JK left and Eisner lost his way. Both elements are back with the new leadership. I really believe this. Nobody is irreplaceable, however Lasseter is the right person for the job.

I heard the music and food are not that bad. Two things Orlando isn't famous for unless you count Popeye's.

Its good to see that they have tied both film production and theme park operations back together. It seems like Lasseter has his head on strait. Princess and the Frog, i am sure will be good, but i am more excited to hear about Rapunzel.

if the movie does tank it doesnt mean it doesnt have fans.. maybe people just couldnt go see it or something. the emperor's new groove and mulan didn't do to good at the box office but you will always find people who love those movies.
and its just a restaurant... as long as the food is tasty and its a good atmosphere it should be a hit
